First it just decided to not turn on one day. People who are willing to pay this much for a massager are desperate for pain relief and I feel products like this just take advantage of our desperation and hope. It overheats quickly and shuts off and stays off for over ten minutes and when the red light finally goes off it only works for less than five mins before it shuts back off. I received it today and it lacks power, even on high setting. I did my research and saw that this model was heavier than the thumper sport, so I purchased it. I assumed that for $195 this model would have to be heavy duty. I believed there had to be a heavier duty model out there.

I found an old model on eBay and have been using it. When it died I bought a new model and immediately returned it due to its lack of power. Making us pay for quality that used to be giving to all of their products.ĥ Overpriced and still cheap I have chronic pain and have had it for years.

The Thumper Mini Pro lasted me 3 years and after all these years I know how to fix them but I purchased a second one anyway. The first HomMedics I purchased in 2000 lasted 3 years all others I purchased since then lasted 1 year.What happens is the cord vibrates loose and sadly HomMedics seems to have made them cheaper so the cords vibrate loose even faster.
